What We Do
How does Prosperite protect my personal information?
To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards, secured files and buildings, encryption of data in transit and at rest, and limited access to personal information on a need-to-know basis.
How does Prosperite collect my personal information?
We collect your personal information, for example, when you:
- Apply for a loan or fill out mortgage application forms
- Provide income, employment, or asset information
- Give us your contact information
- Use our AI chat assistant to explore home buying options
- Request mortgage rate quotes
We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus or other companies (for mortgage rate calculations).
Why can't I limit all sharing?
Federal law gives you the right to limit only:
- Sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness
- Affiliates from using your information to market to you
- Sharing for nonaffiliates to market to you
State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with the following types of third-party service providers to run our everyday business operations:
Mortgage Rate Providers
Provider: Mortech (rate pricing engine)
Shared: Loan amount, property value, credit score, location, loan purpose
Purpose: Live, competitive mortgage rates from multiple lenders
Email Service Providers
Provider: SendGrid (email delivery)
Shared: Email address, name, application details
Purpose: Transactional emails (confirmations, status updates)
We limit the information we send to service providers and require that they only use shared personal information to perform the services requested. Our service providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own marketing purposes.
